• Financial & Billing Information: Bank payout account details, tax reporting identifiers (W-9 / W-8BEN info), tax IDs, and billing addresses handled directly through our payment infrastructure partner, Stripe, Inc.
• Technical & Device Data: IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, operating system details, network location, proxy headers, and HTTP cookies used for session authentication (`ff_session`).
• Video & Streaming Analytics: Playback duration, watch timestamps, video quality metrics, streaming bandwidth usage, and access key validation events logged via Cloudflare Stream.
• Transaction & License Data: Purchase histories, license keys issued, receipt records, and transaction correspondence sent via our Fastmail transactional email system.

2. Payment Processing & Third-Party Vendors

Payment transactions are processed securely via Stripe, Inc. FreightFrame does not store raw credit card numbers or CVV codes on our servers. Stripe collects, uses, and processes payment details according to their own Privacy Policy (stripe.com/privacy).

We also utilize third-party infrastructure providers to deliver our core SaaS capabilities:

• Vercel & Cloudflare: Web hosting, global CDN edge delivery, DNS proxying, and media streaming.
• Neon DB: Serverless PostgreSQL database hosting for account records and product data.
• Fastmail: Secure transactional email dispatch for receipts and license delivery.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process Personal Information for legitimate business purposes, including to:

• Operate, maintain, and optimize the FreightFrame marketplace and paywall streaming player.
• Verify creator identities, process customer transactions, and calculate platform payouts.
• Send order confirmations, license keys, security alerts, and technical support messages.
• Detect, prevent, and mitigate fraud, unauthorized video scraping, DMCA violations, and account abuse.
• Comply with applicable tax, legal, and financial audit obligations.

4. Sharing & Disclosure of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your Personal Information to third-party advertisers. Information is disclosed strictly under the following conditions:

• Creator & Buyer Fulfillment: When a buyer purchases a digital product, limited details (buyer email, name, and purchase timestamp) are shared with the creator to verify license access and provide support.
• Service Providers: Shared with infrastructure and hosting partners bound by contractual data confidentiality obligations.
• Legal & Regulatory Mandates: Disclosed if required to comply with court orders, subpoenas, DMCA notices, or governmental tax reporting.

5. Cookies & Authentication Tokens

We use essential HTTP-only cookies (`ff_session`) to maintain secure login sessions and verify token ownership when accessing restricted video streams. Disabling essential cookies in your browser will prevent dashboard authentication and paywalled content streaming.

6. Data Security & Retention

We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical measures (including TLS encryption in transit and database encryption at rest) to protect your data. We retain Personal Information for as long as your account remains active or as required by law (e.g., maintaining 7-year tax records for transaction history).

Depending on your legal residence (e.g., California, European Union, United Kingdom), you may possess statutory rights regarding your personal data, including the right to:

• Request access to the Personal Information we hold about you.
